We're building this in the open and at the pace families actually want. Here's exactly where we are and what comes next.

Right now we are in Phase 1. We're gauging interest and mapping where families are. Nothing below Phase 1 has started yet.

1 · Gauge interest

Find out how many families are out there and where they are (by ZIP). This is the whole job right now.
What moves us forward: Enough interested families clustered closely enough to gather.
2 · Meetups
Not yet
Informal get-togethers — park days, feast-day celebrations, parent meetings — to actually meet and build trust.
What moves us forward: Families want something more regular and structured.
3 · Recurring classes
Not yet
Volunteer- and instructor-led classes or activity blocks on a regular schedule, with background checks and child-protection norms in place.
What moves us forward: Sustained demand, willing instructors, and a suitable space.
4 · Possible formal structure
Not yet
If we ever need to hold shared money over time, we'd form a proper unincorporated nonprofit association (its own EIN and bank account) and seek the right relationships — including with the diocese.
What moves us forward: Holding the group's money over time — not headcount.

What we are not — yet
