The plan

This is happening. Here's exactly where we are, where we're headed, and how you fit in — starting now.

We're founding the co-op right now, with our first gatherings this fall. The families who add their names in these early weeks are the ones who shape the day, the place, and the classes. That's you, if you want it.

    Gathering the founding families

    Now

    We're assembling our founding families and mapping where everyone is (by ZIP) so we can lock in a day and a meeting place that works for the most people. Add your family and you're a founder, not a latecomer.

    Next: We're close. Every family who joins makes the first gathering stronger.

    Our first gatherings

    This fall

    We come together in person — a kickoff for parents, park days and feast-day celebrations for the kids, and the start of real friendships. This is where it stops being an idea and becomes a community.

    A weekly co-op day

    This school year

    The heart of it: instructor- and parent-led classes, Catholic formation, and friendship on a set weekday families can count on — with background checks and our two-adult, no-isolation norms in place from day one.

    Putting down roots

    As we grow

    As we grow, we'll formalize the way solid lay efforts do — and only when it's right. If we ever hold shared costs over time, we'll form a proper nonprofit association (its own EIN and bank account) and build the right relationships, including with the diocese.

Straight talk

Confidence isn't the same as overpromising. So, plainly:

  • We're a co-op, not a school. Each family remains its own home school under Kentucky law — and we like it that way. We add classes and community; you stay the educator.
  • We're independent. An independent group of Catholic families — not a program of the Diocese of Owensboro or any parish.
  • No tuition, no fundraising. If we ever share the cost of a space, it's a simple split of the actual cost — never a membership fee or a money-maker.
  • Enrollment opens once classes and a space are set. Join now and you'll be first in line when it does.
