Why we're doing this

We're homeschooling families in the Murray area who want our children to learn alongside others in a setting that takes the Catholic faith seriously. Kentucky's established Catholic homeschool communities are all on the eastern side of the state; the nearest co-op to us is wonderful, but general-Christian, not Catholic. So we're building what's missing — and we're building it now.

We are unapologetically Catholic in heart and in formation. We're also genuinely welcoming. That means:

• No gate. There's no doctrinal test, no “must be practicing” checkbox, and no interrogation of where you are on your journey.
• One simple ask. We ask everyone to respect the group's Catholic character — not to affirm every teaching, just to honor the spirit of what we're building.
• Warmth over pressure. Curious about the faith? Returning to it? Raising your kids in it your whole life? All of you are welcome at the same table.

Who we are

We're founding families — Catholic parents in and around Murray who are doing the work to make this real: planning the first gatherings, lining up instructors, and choosing a day and a place. We're ordinary families, not an institution, and that's the point: a co-op is something parents build together.

What we are not

We use the word “co-op” deliberately. We are a supplement to home education, not a school and not a substitute for it. Each family remains its own home school and handles its own state reporting. And importantly:
